Positive pressure in thread alignment disappears at a certain moment and the friction is zero, thus loosening the threaded connection. If the operation is repeated, the threaded connection will loosen and fail, so it is necessary to prevent loosening, or it will affect the normal work and cause accidents.
2. When the main body is a large equipment, it is necessary to install accessories, such as observation mirrors, mechanical sealing seat, deceleration frame, etc. At this time, the use of double-headed bolts screwed into the main body at one end, and after installing the accessories, the other end is fitted with a nut, due to the frequent dismantling of the accessories, when the main body is directly connected to the accessories through the bolts, the main body screws will be worn out or damaged as the time passes, and the use of the double-headed bolts for the replacement is very convenient.

Maintenance of double-headed bolts:

1. In actual work, double-headed bolts will be repeatedly rubbed, and their threaded connections may loosen and gradually lose their function, so the relevant personnel need to do a good job of maintenance of double-headed bolts.

2. When the large equipment is in operation, it is necessary to observe its working status at all times. Once there is abnormal noise and equipment instability, it is necessary to stop the operation immediately and start checking; during the maintenance of double-headed bolts, the relevant personnel need to carefully check the connection of double-headed bolts and other accessories to avoid big problems.
